This attractive sofa table is built from a variety of interesting woods.

Birdseye maple discovered while salvaging old hardwood cargo pallets was used to make the top. Also, while replacing an old door with a custom one, Troy salvaged some antique redwood from a door jam. Redwood is not typically used anymore for door jams. This wood was used to make the frame.

Like the Oak Hutch, salvaged Pecan wood from southern Arizona was used to make the bookmatched side pannels. The cracks and holes are filled with black epoxy.

The bottom shelf is made from re-sawn and book matched quilted birch. A heavy oil finish was used to bring out the quilting and Birdseye characteristics in the wood.
